Peter Völkle
In 1989, Peter Völkle founded a small media outfit called TMO Film GmbH and conducted the business from his kitchen table. Eleven years later, and with the success of producing several popular animation series behind him, Völkle changed the company name to TV-Loonland and spearheaded its favourable flotation on Germany’s Neuer Markt Stock Exchange. Since March 2000, TV-Loonland has maintained a clear vision for expansion and, with offices in Munich, London, Paris, Budapest, New York, Miami and Seoul, has achieved international recognition for being a leader in children’s and family entertainment.
Prior to starting his own company, Völkle spent three years working in Kirch Gruppe’s legal department and, subsequently, worked as Assistant to the Managing Director in Charge of Programmes. Völkle holds a Law Degree from Munich-based Ludwigs Maximilian University and a scholarship from the prestigious Max Plank Institute where he studied International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law.
