Daniel Tibbets
As Vice President of Entertainment for Fireworks Television, Daniel Tibbets oversees program development and plays an active role in managing the company's relationships with writing and producing talent as well as distributors.
Previously, Tibbets was Vice President of Ray Arts Studios and Papazian-Hirsch Entertainment where he was responsible for guiding film, television and home video projects from concept to camera. Most notably, Tibbets' developed and sold to HBO the mini series event John Milius' ROME.
Prior to Papazian-Hirsch, Tibbets was Manager, Programming for EYEMARK Entertainment, a Unit of CBS Enterprises, where he worked on series including Jackie Collins’ Hollywood, Pensacola: Wings of Gold, Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal, Martha Stewart Living and Bob Vila's Home Again. Tibbets joined EYEMARK when the unit was formed out of the merger between Group W Productions, CBS Enterprises and MaXaM Entertainment where he had handled diverse programming, production and distribution-related duties.
Earlier in his career, Tibbets was Director of Development and Producer for Pinnacle Communications in Arizona where he worked on a diverse slate of programming including the Emmy award winning Streetwise, World Champions of Golf and Signs and Wonders, a 4-hour mini-series starring James Earl Jones. He also worked extensively as an independent producer in the reality genre.
Tibbets serves on the production executive peer group committee of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) and is also a member of the National Association of Television Programming Executives (NATPE).
He graduated from Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Advertising and Promotion. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Lorianne and daughter Grace.
