Kurt Mueller

Kurt Mueller serves as Director, Creative Development for Sesame Workshop, one of the world’s leading producers of quality children’s educational programming. He is responsible for creative content, and cultivating development and production activities for properties that are targeted to children of all ages. In addition, he is responsible for attracting and retaining global talent and partnerships.

Mueller helped develop Sponk!, a kid-driven improvisational comedy-game show currently airing on Noggin and is working on Two Down Under, an off-beat, coming of age drama set in Australia to premier on the UK’s CBBC, Australia’s ABC and Noggin in Spring 2003.

Most recently, Mueller was Manager, Creative Development, Sesame Workshop (1996-1999). Prior to that, he was a teacher and curriculum developer for Teach for America (1992-1995).

Mueller earned a BA in English and Theatre from Lawrence University.
