Ellen Goldsmith-Vein
Ellen Goldsmith-Vein heads the AMG Animation and Family Entertainment division of Artists Management Group. AMG Animation is the largest management company for people involved in all aspects of animation, with a client roster of more than 200 artists, writers, producers, creators and directors. AMG Animation clients include the creators of RUGRATS and RECESS, the producers of television’s DARIA, ANGRY BEAVERS, and FUTURAMA, and top creative talent involved in hit animated programming such as KING OF THE HILL, GODZILLA, and MEN IN BLACK.
Prior to joining AMG, Goldsmith-Vein served as President of The Gotham Group, Inc., the largest agency in the world with a predominant focus on the creative world of animation.
Goldsmith-Vein attended Hollins College for two years and is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology.
Currently, Goldsmith-Vein serves on the board of the What to Expect Foundation, Y.E.S. to Jobs, Blue Ribbon or the Los Angeles Music Center, and AIDS Project Los Angeles’ Buddies for Life and is a voting member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Women in Animation, ASIFA (Hollywood), the American Film Institute’s Third Decade Council, formerly served on the Alumni board of directors at Hollins College, the executive committee of the board of directors of Free Arts for Abused Children, and served as a fellow on the Steering Committee of The Museum of Television & Radio.
