Adam Bonnett

Adam Bonnett As Vice President, Original Programming for Disney Channel, Adam Bonnett oversees all of the network’s live action and animation development, as well as current series for Zoog Disney, Disney Channel’s programming block for kids 6-14.

Formerly Disney Channel’s Director of Development, Bonnett has developed many of the networks’ successful series including the comedy hits Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire. Most recently, Bonnett oversaw development for Disney Channel's first animated series for tweens, The Proud Family, which debuts in September 2001. In addition he has overseen the development and production of The Famous Jett Jackson, The Jersey, Omba Mokomba, Going Wild with Jeff Corwin, Disney’s American Teacher Awards and Disney’s Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra.

Prior to joining Disney Channel, Bonnett was the Director of Current Programming for Nickelodeon where he spearheaded their high profile franchise, The Kids Choice Awards. While at Nick, he also managed the programming block, Nick In The Afternoon and was the Executive in Charge of Production on Space Cases and The Big Help.

Bonnett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema Studies from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. He is based in Los Angeles, California.
