Beatriz Acevedo

Executive Producer Beatriz Acevedo has more than 17 years experience in the TV industry. She is a three-time Emmy winner for "En Exclusiva," an entertainment magazine show, which aired on Televisa in Mexico and via Galavision in the United States, Europe and Africa. Other recent credits include "High Risk," an extreme sports series that airs on USA Networks in Latin America and Discovery Channel’s travel series "Rolando Ando," which airs in Latin America, Spain and Portugal in both Spanish and Portuguese.

Acevedo has created more than 750 half-hours of original primetime programming in English, Spanish and Portuguese for some of the most recognizable networks in the world, including E! Entertainment Television, Nickelodeon, Fox Sports World, DirecTV Espanol, Discovery Kids and Discovery Health. In addition, Acevedo was a production and development consultant for Discovery Channel Networks and for the BBC's launch of the network, "People and the Arts," in Latin America.

Acevedo also has extensive experience producing commercials and music videos. In 1995, the video her company produced for the Mexican band Café Tacuba won an MTV video award.
