Young music lovers will be shimmying into US McDonald's outlets as the QSR giant intros Kidz Bop-themed Happy Meals.
Until May 21, each Happy Meal will contain one of eight CDs with four tracks, along with a bonus song "Kidz Bop World." The CDs also hold a code that can be used at HappyMeal.com to unlock a special song to be played on the McWorld virtual music player, where kids can dance and interact with online DJs.
Since its launch on April 24, McDonald's has launched a Happy Meal commercial that shows how music can bring kids and moms together. Other marketing efforts include packaging, in-store signage and displays, with the Happy Meal being cross-promoted on KidzBop.com.
