Atari appoints UK's Rocket Licensing to rep brands

by Gary Rusak

Atari, producer, publisher and distributor of interactive games, has appointed UK licensing agent Rocket Licensing to rep its classic trademark and the Alone in the Dark brand in the region.

Rocket is initially targeting apparel, homewares and accessories licensees to produce good for the adult and collector market wit links to fashion and lifestyle retail outlets.

Additionally, with the Atari Mount Fuji trademark, created in 1972, being recognized the world over, the company is looking to appoint licensing reps around the globe to license the trademark and images and icons associated with classic Atari titles, including Asteroids, Breakout and Pong.
