Sega scores deal with Japanese game developer

Games giant Sega has sealed a worldwide partnership with Osaka, Japan-based PlatiumGames to develop three new Sega game titles.

Under the agreement, PlatinumGames will develop Madworld, Infinite Line and Bayonetta.

Additionally, a fourth title, directed by gaming superstar Shinji Mikami, is also part of the deal.

Madworld, the first title is a third-person action game made exclusively for the Wii and will be released in Q1 2009. Infinite Line will also be released in 2009 for the Nintendo DS and will feature more than 200 characters and multiple spaceship, while Bayonetta is being created for the Xbox 360 and the Playstion3.
