Do you think the situation will affect original kids TV production in the US?
Yes, when the networks lose money production budgets suffer
Maybe, if the MSOs and the Networks can't reach an online rev-share model

People moves: Target appoints global brand director

by Gary Rusak

Target Entertainment has promoted director of international licensing Helen Howells to the newly created post of global brand director.

Howells is now charged with driving Target's brands across all platforms and media on a global basis by devising 360-degree rights exploitation strategies for the company's property portfolio. She will work with all departments, including TV, film, licensing and DVD.

Howells began her career with S4C International before she joined Target in 2004 from US-based 4Kids Entertainment, where she was commercial director, responsible for properties such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
